School Spotlight: Chelsea Heights School
Tucked away in a charming neighborhood in the heart of Atlantic City, Chelsea Heights School was blooming with energy and heart when Gardener Aidan and Gardener Shanna visited for two inspiring #PullYourWeeds® assemblies this May.
With the scent of summer in the air, we had the joy of connecting with all 260 students from grades K–8. As they geared up for state testing that week, our visit was perfectly timed to help plant seeds of confidence, calm, and resilience. Together, we explored simple but powerful gardening tools—like Flower Breathing—to help students stay grounded and grow through the week ahead with ease.
A heartfelt thank you to their wonderfully supportive school counselor, Ms. Danielle Newsome, who coordinated this event and brought our #PullYourWeeds® assemblies to her school. Her dedication to her students' emotional growth made this special day possible.
It was a beautiful reminder that every school is a place where seeds of growth can flourish—and at Chelsea Heights, it’s clear those seeds are nurtured with heart, and it’s clear their students are supported by a community that truly cares.
We’re so grateful to have spent the day sowing seeds of positivity in Atlantic City, and we’re already looking forward to more blooming connections.
