Struggling Right Now? Here’s How to Grow Through What You’re Going Through
Sometimes life feels heavy. Overwhelming. Like we are just trying to get through the day.
In those moments, it is easy to believe the goal is simply to get through it. To push forward, stay busy, and hope things feel easier soon. But in the gardener mindset, we see things differently. We are not just here to get through the weeds. We are here to grow through them.
This simple mindset shift changes everything. When we move from just getting through hard times to growing through them, we begin to see our challenges in a new way. Instead of asking how we can get past something, we gently begin to ask what can grow from it. That shift creates space for personal growth, emotional strength, and meaningful change. It is not about forcing positivity. It is about allowing personal and emotional growth.
Every garden has weeds. That does not mean the garden is failing. It means something is ready to be noticed, understood, and cared for. The same is true for us. Hard moments can reveal what we need, show us where we feel stuck, and guide us toward new ways of thinking. When we slow down and pay attention, those weeds begin to turn into seeds.

Growth does not require us to have everything figured out. It starts small. We pause. We notice what we are feeling. We begin to name the weed, whether it is stress, fear, frustration, or self-doubt. Then, with patience, we look for the seed by asking what this moment might be teaching us. From there, we take one small step forward, responding with care instead of reaction. This is how growth begins, quietly, gently, and consistently.
If you are struggling right now, it does not mean you are falling behind. It means you are in a moment that has the potential to grow something meaningful. In the gardener mindset, we trust that growth is always possible, even when it does not feel like it yet. No matter where we are in life, we are all learning how to grow through what we feel. Over time, those small shifts begin to bloom.
