Hello Gardeners!


When was the last time you took inventory of your 'toolbox'? For those of you who are new to our page we are talking about the various tools you rely on to help you overcome challenges and "PULL YOUR WEEDS"! Today, we have 3 grounding techniques that are easy to remember and a wonderful addition to any toolbox!




D I S T R A C T I O N


Sometimes you just need to disrupt your thoughts! Playing a game (like I-spy) is a simple way to redirect - it gets you observing your surroundings and while taking focus and attention away from your pattern of thought!



O B S E R V E


The simple act of observing your surroundings helps bring you back to the present moment! Observation requires awareness and the ability to be present. If you want to read up on some activities that practice observation, click here!



B R E A T H E


We've said it before and we'll say it again! BREATHE! Deep breathing is one of the best ways to relieve stress. Check out some of our other posts for breathing techniques:
