"Stained-glass" Hearts
Updated: Feb 7, 2022
HELLO GARDENERS!
With colder days upon us, we have been soaking up as much sun as we can! Taking walks, reading in the early morning light, or enjoying breakfast by the window - we are craving the sun! There is just something about seeing those golden rays shine down on green grass or on park benches - casting shadows of all the things it touches. It's warming and comforting and that might just be why winter sun feels so good!
Today we've got a craft that will not only warm your heart, but will surely exercise those creative decision-making skills! And bonus, this craft can double as a wall hanging OR colorful sun catcher! We are 'comp-heart-ment' painting 😆 💚 with "stained-glass" hearts!

Materials you will need:
Paper roll tube
Black paint
Watercolor paint

Some water for your paintbrush
Get creative with color mixing, arrangement, and shape! Try filling in circles and triangles or reshaping your paper tube to be a square, oval, or diamond. The possibilities are endless!
